I am a dedicated pre-nursing student at North Carolina A&T with hands-on experience in patient care through my Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training. I’ve also volunteered with organizations like Sisters in Scrubs and Lowcountry Orphan Relief, where I supported underserved youth and community health initiatives. Passionate about advancing health equity, I bring a strong foundation in clinical skills, compassion, and a commitment to serving others. My goal is to become a registered nurse specializing in neonatal or pediatric care.
Current Whereabouts:
Right now, I’m really into developing my clinical skills through my CNA training and learning more about neonatal nursing. I’ve also been focused on scholarship opportunities. I enjoy volunteering with youth programs, exploring new music, and putting together outfits that reflect my style and confidence. I love staying productive, but I always make time for a good self-care routine too.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
My goal is to become a registered nurse specializing in neonatal or pediatric care. After earning my BSN, I plan to gain clinical experience and eventually become a nurse practitioner. As someone who began life in the NICU and has always had a heart for helping others, I’m passionate about supporting children and families through difficult medical experiences. I also aspire to give back through community health initiatives, especially in underserved areas. My long-term vision includes opening a nonprofit clinic and mentoring young women of color in healthcare.
