I got hands-on experience at Monroe Financial as a finance and accounting intern where I worked on financial planning tasks and learned about GAAP, cash flow modeling, and financial statement analysis. I also founded my own business, SavageJay Edits, where I’ve worked with over 100 clients doing video and photo editing. I’ve teamed up with small businesses and influencers to help with branding, events, and promo content. These two roles showed me different sides of work—one being more structured and professional, the other being creative and self-made. Both taught me how to manage time, think on my feet, and stay consistent. Whether I’m in the office or behind the camera, I bring energy and focus to what I do.
