Deyba Barsir is a lover of community service and social justice. As a political science major with a minor in business administration at Howard University, Deyba is passionate about using law and policy to advance historically underrepresented groups. As a member of the Howard Chapter of the NAACP, Bison Buddies Mentoring Program, and Howard University’s Alternative Spring Break, she is dedicated to serving her community and educating others on their civil rights.
She is not only leaving a mark on her campus, but in communities far and near. She is a former Summer 2025 intern for the Fulton County Clerk's office, as well as a Summer 2025 fellow for the Every Voice Coalition. Both organizations where she learned more about law and policy and what it takes to be a servant leader.
