Claim To Fame:
My “claim to fame” is my resilience. After being rejected from the nursing program, I didn’t give up; I came back stronger, earned straight A’s the following semester, and secured my admission for Fall 2025. While maintaining a 3.8 GPA, I balanced work as a CNA, completed multiple internships, and took on leadership roles like Fundraising Co-Chair for Global Medical Brigades. My story is a testament to perseverance, purpose, and a commitment to becoming a nurse who leads with heart and serves with intention.
Most Memorable Moment:
Aside from getting accepted into the nursing program, another unforgettable moment was being selected as Fundraising Co-Chair for Global Medical Brigades, where I’ve helped make life-changing service trips more accessible for other students. Other experiences like serving my community and celebrating personal wins with friends who’ve become family have all shaped my journey and growth at FAMU.
