Claim To Fame:
At North Carolina A&T, my claim to fame will be blending technical innovation with a mission for social impact. I want to be known as the student who didn’t just code, build, or design for the sake of technology, but who used those skills to address real-world issues, starting with affordable housing. Whether through research projects, hackathons, or community partnerships, I plan to create prototypes and solutions that make engineering feel tangible, purposeful, and inclusive. I also want to be recognized for inspiring others, especially students from underrepresented backgrounds—to pursue engineering. As someone shaped by both the legacy of Black excellence and the example of my father’s career in tech, I see myself serving as a role model on campus. My “fame” won’t come from titles or awards alone, but from building a reputation as the Aggie who used innovation to uplift others, who made fellow students believe their ideas could change the world, and who turned big visions into actionable change.
Most Memorable Moment:
My most memorable college moments have come from watching my village grow as I stepped outside my comfort zone. In those moments, I truly learned the importance of “iron sharpening iron”, surrounding myself with peers who challenge, inspire, and push me to become the best version of myself. These relationships have not only shaped my character but have also reminded me that success is rarely a solo journey.
