I spent the last three summers as a teacher’s assistant with the Southern Will County Cooperative for Special Education, supporting developmentally disabled and autistic students. On the flip side of the age spectrum, I’ve also worked the past four years at an assisted living facility, building beautiful relationships with senior citizens. I’ve learned that everyone needs compassion no matter their age.

Current Whereabouts:

Traveling, dancing, shopping and eating good food

Life & Professional Aspirations:

I’m currently majoring in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology. My goal is to become a forensic psychologist working in the juvenile court system. I want to advocate for young people especially those failed by the very systems that were meant to protect them.

Volunteering at Heritage Greens Kisco Senior Living Facility in Greensboro and meeting Dr Velma Speight who my freshman dorm is named after. That was the pinnacle of my freshman year.
