Claim To Fame:

My claim to fame in college is my determination to make a meaningful impact both inside and outside the classroom. I have committed myself not only to pursuing academic excellence, but also to being a voice for others who may not always feel heard. Whether it is through leadership roles, community service, or simply encouraging my peers, I strive to stand out as someone who uplifts and inspires. I want my claim to fame to be that I never settle for mediocrity. That I push myself to exceed expectations while also motivating others to do the same. For me, success is not just about personal achievement; it is about creating opportunities, building connections, and leaving a legacy that reflects resilience and purpose. Ultimately, I want to be remembered in college as the student who not only worked hard toward her dreams of becoming a lawyer and advocate, but who also carried others with her on the journey. That, to me, will be my true claim to fame.

Most Memorable Moment:

One of my most memorable college moments has been being a part of the Essence Dance Team. Joining the team gave me more than just an opportunity to perform. It gave me a family. Through practices, performances, and countless hours of preparation, I have learned discipline, teamwork, and resilience. Dancing has always been a passion of mine, but performing with Essence has allowed me to connect that passion to my college journey in a powerful way. The experience has also given me a strong sense of pride and confidence. Stepping on the floor with my team, representing my HBCU, and seeing the energy we bring to the crowd is unforgettable. Those moments remind me that hard work pays off, and that when we work together, we can inspire others and create something greater than ourselves. Being a member of the Essence Dance Team is more than just a highlight. It is a defining part of my college experience. It represents dedication, community, and the joy of expressing myself while uplifting school spirit.
