Claim To Fame:
My “claim to fame” in college is my ability to balance school, work, and family while still staying focused on my long-term goals. Many people know me as the one who manages to juggle a full-time job in healthcare, raise a family, and pursue a degree in Healthcare Administration—all while staying active in class discussions and leadership opportunities like NSLS. I’ve built a reputation for being dependable, organized, and willing to help others whenever I can. What makes this my “claim to fame” is that it shows my resilience and determination. I don’t give up easily, and I try to encourage others by showing that even with challenges, it’s possible to keep moving forward. Whether it’s leading a group project, supporting a classmate who needs help, or sharing real-world healthcare experiences in our assignments, I try to leave my mark by uplifting others and making a positive contribution wherever I am.
Most Memorable Moment:
One of my most memorable college moments has been connecting with classmates who share the same drive and goals as I do. Whether it was late-night study sessions, working together on group projects, or encouraging each other when deadlines felt overwhelming, those bonds created a sense of family and support that I’ll never forget. Another unforgettable moment was being recognized for my hard work and dedication. Balancing school, work, and family has not been easy, but moments where professors or peers acknowledged my effort reminded me why I started this journey in the first place. Those small but meaningful acknowledgments pushed me to keep going and stay focused on my goals. I also consider joining leadership programs and organizations like the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) as a highlight of my college journey. Getting involved in something bigger than myself allowed me to grow in confidence, sharpen my leadership skills, and step into opportunities that I never imagined when I first enrolled. Altogether, these moments are memorable because they represent more than academics—they reflect growth, resilience, and the relationships I’ve built along the way.
