Throughout my journey at Jackson State University, I have dedicated myself to academic excellence, leadership, and service—values that define our institution’s legacy. My commitment is reflected in the impactful roles and initiatives I have undertaken, each contributing to the advancement of our campus community. As Academic Affairs Chairman for the 80th Student Government Association (2025–Present), I spearheaded initiatives to enhance academic policies, resulting in increased student satisfaction with academic support services. By collaborating closely with faculty and administration, I fostered improved communication between students and academic departments. Organizing and attending monthly meetings, I consistently advocated for policy changes that benefit all students, ensuring their voices are heard and their concerns addressed. My passion for medicine and community health was further developed as a Summer Intern in the Medical Mentors Pathway Program at Wayne State School of Medicine (June–August 2025). There, I shadowed professionals across diverse medical fields—including Pathology, Cardiology, and Internal Medicine—and researched Social Determinants of Health. Presenting my findings and participating in weekly didactics, I enhanced both my professional skills and personal growth. As Mr. Lambda Sigma Honor Society (2024–2025), I coordinated with the Campus Activities Board and SGA to ensure effective communication within the honor society. My active participation in events helped foster a supportive and engaging atmosphere, while my analysis of feedback and attendance data led to improved activities and increased member engagement. I have also demonstrated strong interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills, and am BLS certified. My involvement extends to the Du Bois-Harvey Honors College (Worker, 2023–Present), Blue Streak Mentor (2024–Present), and as a Board Member of the Delta Delta Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Inc. (2025–Present).
