My career journey has shaped by growth, discipline, and purpose. I started at Bloomingdale’s, where I developed effective communication and customer service skills. I later became a supervisor in a group home for developmentally disabled individuals, where I led a team, managed care plans, and supported residents with empathy and structure. Now, as a sergeant at a maximum-security prison, I apply leadership, crisis management, and emotional intelligence daily. Each role has taught me to lead with integrity, adapt under pressure, and serve with compassion. No matter what the setting, my focus has remained the same: to make a meaningful impact through consistent, purpose-driven work.

Claim To Fame:
My "claim to fame" in college was being known as someone who always showed up with purpose, passion, and positivity. Whether it was in the classroom, at campus events, or in group projects, I made it my mission to lead by example and uplift those around me. I was the one people could count on to bring a sense of calm, encouragement, and drive to get things done. I wasn’t just focused on getting my degree I was focused on making a difference, even in small ways. From mentoring peers to speaking up when others stayed quiet, I stayed true to who I am and what I stand for. That consistency and heart is what made me stand out.
Most Memorable Moment:
One of my most memorable college moments was my first time stepping onto the campus of NCCU as a student. The energy, the history, and the sense of pride in the air made me feel like I was exactly where I was meant to be.
