I am a Civil Engineer with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), where I design and implement conservation solutions that protect watersheds, preserve natural resources, and support sustainable land use. As a former USDA 1890 National Scholar, I’ve transformed my academic training into a career rooted in service and impact. Beyond my engineering role, I am the Founder and CEO of The STEM Bae Collective, a nonprofit that empowers the next generation of diverse STEM leaders through mentorship, outreach, and education. My passion lies in blending technical expertise with community advocacy to build a more sustainable and inclusive future.

Most Memorable Moment:
Every moment was memorable and I will cherish my memories and friendships forever. My most memorable moments were the bonds I created and the legacy I have at Tuskegee University. I am grateful for my additional HBCU family at North Carolina Central University as I earned my Masters in Business Administration concentrating in Wealth Management.

As an Area Civil Engineer with USDA-NRCS in North Carolina, I provide engineering expertise to design and implement conservation practices that protect soil, water, and other natural resources while supporting sustainable land use. My work includes developing engineering plans, drawings, and cost estimates for practices such as erosion control, stream and watershed restoration, irrigation efficiency, and water management structures. I collaborate with landowners, conservation partners, and field staff to ensure projects meet NRCS technical standards and community needs, while also overseeing construction and quality assurance in the field. This role allows me to combine technical problem-solving with environmental stewardship, advancing NRCS’s mission of protecting natural resources and strengthening agricultural resilience across North Carolina.
