About   (request update)
My name is Caihia White, and I am pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education at North Carolina Central University, with an expected graduation in Fall 2025. I am passionate about fostering the growth and development of young learners while creating inclusive and supportive learning environments that encourage curiosity and confidence. Throughout my college experience, I have served as President of the Epsilon Lambda Chapter of Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Sorority and participated in the University Teaching Fellows Program, where I assisted new students in successfully transitioning to college life. I was also a dancer with the NCCU Marching Sound Machine and have volunteered with the NCCU Campus Pantry, LaShore Law Firm Outreach Program, and Womack Army Medical Center, e

Claim To Fame:
My claim to fame in college was being a part of the dance team for the NCCU Sound Machine, an experience that became one of the most defining chapters of my life. For four years, I poured my heart into every performance, representing not just myself but my school’s legacy and culture. Being part of the team gave me exposure far beyond the campus, traveling to different events, meeting alumni, and connecting with people who believed in the same values of excellence and tradition. The relationships I built and the lessons I learned about discipline, commitment, and confidence have shaped who I am today. It was more than just dancing; it was about creating moments that brought people together and finding my own voice within a larger community.
Most Memorable Moment:
One of my most memorable college moments was traveling and living with my dance sisters while also becoming a member of Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Sorority alongside three of them. Those experiences were filled with laughter, late-night talks, and unforgettable adventures that strengthened our bond in ways I will always cherish. Joining the sorority together made the journey even more special, as we supported one another through challenges and celebrated our achievements side by side. It wasn’t just about the places we went or the performances we shared—it was about the sisterhood we built and the lifelong memories we created along the way.
