Claim To Fame:
I’m known on campus as someone who can connect with anyone. I might be socially awkward at first, but I have a knack for making people feel comfortable enough to open up—whether it’s peers, professors, or even the college president. I’m also a goofball at heart; my humor and energy bring fun into serious settings and help break down barriers. Being this friend‑therapist‑vibe person not only lifts others up—it also drives me to be more empathetic, confident, and a better leader.
Most Memorable Moment:
1. One hot random Thursday, President Sorrell rolled up to the crowd with trunks full of water guns and a huge blow‑up pool. All the admins came too just to hang out with us. It turned into a wild water fight — totally unexpected but so much fun. 2. During Homecoming week, they threw a fashion show in our café. Models included both men and women, showing off street style mixed with business casual — since at Paul Quinn we’re business professional, even in what we wear. It was creative, stylish, and felt very “us.” 3. One night we were all tired from classes, so some friends dragged me to a dorm room karaoke session. Someone put on a beat‑up karaoke mic, others grabbed random snacks, and before we knew it people were rapping, singing off‑key, dancing silly. Even the quiet kids jumped up and joined in. It was messy and goofy, but we laughed so hard and bonded more in those few hours than in weeks of class.
