I am a freshman Mass Communications major at Delaware State University with a focus on Digital Media and Film Production. My passion for storytelling began when I started filming and editing videos that captured real moments in my life and community. I’ve developed skills in video editing, content creation, and visual design through personal projects and hands-on experience with DSU-TV. I also have experience working in a salon environment, where I learned professionalism, communication, and customer service. My goal is to build a career in media production that inspires others and highlights authentic stories that deserve to be seen.

Claim To Fame:

My claim to fame in college will be making my mark through creativity and storytelling. Whether it’s producing videos, capturing campus life, or creating content that inspires others, I want people to recognize me for making their day feel just a little better. I plan to use my skills in digital media and film production to highlight the real stories of HBCU students and show the beauty in our experiences. I want my name to be connected to something that represents purpose.

Most Memorable Moment:

In just a small amount of time, college has already given me memories I’ll never forget. Working in the DESU-TV studio has been one of the best parts so far. Learning how to film, edit, and create projects with my classmates made me realize I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be. Outside of that, it’s the small moments that stand out the most like the late-night study sessions that turn into long talks, the laughter with friends over the dumbest things, and the feeling of figuring life out together. Even on the stressful days, we still find a way to make it fun. Those experiences are just a reminder that no one is perfect and we're all trying to figure it out.
