Claim To Fame:
My claim to fame in college would be my habit of checking up on my classmates when they have been absent from class for a while, sharing my notes, and offering help whenever they need it. I would also be known as the Jamaican chef on my dorm hall, cooking delicious Jamaican dishes that are impossible to ignore when people walk past my room.
Most Memorable Moment:
Howard University offers an Alternative Spring Break program, where students travel to a state to serve a community. I had the opportunity to go to Williston, South Carolina, and it was hands down one of my most memorable college experiences. I stayed in a cabin with fellow Howard students, and the relationships I built there, both with my peers and the children and community we served, are unforgettable.
