Accounting professional and CPA candidate with hands-on experience in tax preparation, municipal finance, and public sector accounting. I have prepared individual tax returns through the IRS VITA program, ensuring accuracy and compliance while assisting diverse taxpayers. I interned with the City of Cairo under the Finance Director, where I supported governmental accounting functions, financial reporting, and operational reviews. I currently work full-time with the City of Cairo, continuing to build experience in public finance, budgeting, and financial operations. I bring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to ethical financial stewardship, and I am seeking opportunities for continued growth in accounting and government finance.
Current Whereabouts:
Working on revamping my personal business while preparing for my MBA and CPA exams. I also enjoy reading, listening to music, and dancing as creative outlets.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
My long-term goal is to become a forensic accountant, applying strong analytical and investigative skills to complex financial matters. I am also interested in leveraging my accounting background within the beauty or sports industries, where finance, creativity, and business strategy intersect.
