Claim To Fame:
I was a sideline reporter with our radio station for our football, m. basketball, and w. basketball teams. I was also a sports anchor for our television news station--it was too much fun! On November 20, 2005, I became a woman of distinction in another way---Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc...SKEEEE WEEEE to all my sorors. I have love for my little soror sistas at CAU, especially if you're in Beckwith Hall! B-PSI !!! (#11 Pillars of Pearl-fection, TAO, Fall '05) Krystal...reppin Howard, Ada...reppin Grambling! Remember, don't take it personal--lol! Muuuah Sorors! Love to my frat (A-Phi)..and all the other fraternities and sororities! I love and miss CAU too much. Will be showing up to Homecoming best believe in '06! If any CAU Mass Media Arts majors want a lil insight, heads up or support from a graduate who knows what you're going through, feel free to get at me anytime! Vital advice: Have as many connections as you can by the time you leave school. Internships can help you build those contacts as well. Jobs do not...I repeat...DO NOT fall into your laps just because you graduate.
Most Memorable Moment:
Just getting the HBCU experience transferring from a very diverse college such as California State University Long Beach...I couldn't have envisioned a more valuable education academically and socially. Going to Bayou Classics, Homecomings, sideline reporting for our sporting teams, CAU Players Theatre Group! I met my boyfriend,@ Clark and all of my best friends for life there... Justin James, Nicole Harris, Nichole Celistan, LaKiya, P. Will & so many others... Clark Atlanta University embodies the style, sophistication and ultimate HBCU experience that so many people yearn for! All my MASS COMMMMMMMMM PEOPLES!! All my LYKEHOUSE PEOPLES!! BECKWITH HALL---B PSI!!!! Seeing my cousin, Duffy, get to Morehouse ('07) and really find his way there. He's becoming such a man mentally, physically and all that..wow, it's still crazy to me.
