Kam Williams is a California native who moved to Atlanta Georgia to fulfill her dream of entrepreneurship in a big city. Atlanta was always the land of opportunity for minorities and this is the place she wanted to be. Kam received her Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Clark Atlanta University and her Master’s of Landscape Architecture from Cornell University. After completing her Master’s degree she realized that she wanted to move back to Atlanta and start a consulting business. Therefore, in December 2006 she started out doing small landscape designs for friends. Kam currently works beside landscape contractor Mike Potts of Potts landscaping. Together they will continue to pursue landscape projects while trying to educate people on the awesome world of landscape Architecture.

Claim To Fame:
Kam Williams recent accomplishments is obtaining a $25,000 contract to design and build a subdivision community amenities. It took a year to begin this project, but through hard work and dedication she is making their landscape vision a reality. However, she couldn't do it alone. Thanks to the assistance from Aaron Ruffin, planner and landscape contractor Mike Potts of Potts Landscaping. Through all of our hard work we can let people of color know there are other exciting professions out there.

The whole black college experience, especially the CAU versus Morehouse B-Ball games
