Current Whereabouts:

I am currently at Alcorn and still working towards my Degree. I live in McComb, MS and I am employed at JCPenney. I also want to take time to mention the special people in my life. First there is my wonderful husband of 14 years of dating and 3 years of marriage, Mr. Kenneth E. Brown. No, I am not that old just fell in love one time and one time only (Ha!) This man has encourage me every step of the way and I love him for his constant support. And secondly my family of coworkers who are always asking of progress in school and are very understanding about its process.

Greetings to anyone who has choosen this profile. My name is Andrea A. Brown. I am a Junior at the prestigous Alcorn State University. I am majoring in Social Work with plans to attend Jackson State University after graduation to recieve my Masters. My personal claim to fame during my studies at ASU has been just be around such superior student who are proud that they are not only African American but African Americans with purpose and promise. Just being surrounded by these students motivates me to succeed in my field to make a future for those behind me.

Most Memorable Moment:

My most memorable person or persons at ASU has to be the professors that represent the Social Science Department. They are the most decicated individuals to my personal opinion at ASU. I have personally seen them go to bat for students and seek out their best intrests. I am so proud to even be associated with them. My most memorable moment has to be recieve all A's for the first time in my life. Although I worked really hard for them God said yes, and I give him total praise.
