June 2005, I am in Raleigh, NC for the summer...winding down from this past school year, lol...just relaxing and...breathing, ha...
As of May 2005, I officially became a senior at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University......came out of the semester with 3 A's (in News Editing & Layout...Minorities in Mass Media...and Current Issues in Mass Media), 2 B's (in Advanced Writing and Reporting...and Spanish Syntax) & a C (in Spanish Phonetics :-/).....which kept me at my 3.6 accumulative GPA!!
...STILL majoring in Journalism & Mass Communications, with a concentration in Print Journalism....and a minor in Spanish...
BUT...now I will also be minoring in Psychology....which meeeaaans....
I am definitely a senior, no doubt.....but May 2006? hehe, highly unlikely :-D

After graduating from college, I plan to step into the media scene and make an everlasting mark. After writing for a Black or teen magazine for a few years, I will devote myself to creating my own magazine company directed towards the too often-neglected Black and Hispanic teenagers of America.....
I'll be in the media arena for a reasonable period of time, all the while pursuing my passion for poetry and writing in general through other methods. I intend on writing a few novels for the world to read and HoPefully develop a world-renowned reputation for writing (like Terry McMillan, Maya Angelou) and eventually ease my way into that full-time interest.
...Basically, I am aiming to be that writer who strives to interest, entertain, or even influence your life...

NOT JUST ONE!! THIS IS COLLEGE, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! I'M NOT EVEN SURE THE CONCEPT OF ONLY "'ONE' MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT, PERSON, OR EVENT" IS EVEN POSSIBLE IN COLLEGE!!

--> ...all of the concerts i've been 2 since 1st coming 2 college.........the highlighted shows, of course, were the R. Kelly-Jay-Z "Best of Both Worlds" tour i went 2 with my peoplez Jackie, Alex, Evans, Jey, Jennifer, & some other folkz....the Ludacris concert i went 2 for NC State's homecoming w/ Jackie.....the Kanye West/Floetry concert i went 2 with Alex & i think Jennifer & Jey.....Bone Crusher & Killer Mike (& T.I., maybe?).....the the Ying Yang Twinz concert... & probably one or two others i'm forgetting......had an A+++++++, WoNderful time @ all of the shows...especially since i was with some of my fav. non-relatives on the planet! LoL...anywayz tho...
--> ...participating in the Greensboro Truth and Reconciliation Commission's March for Justice, Democracy, and Reconciliation...in Nov. 2004...and meeting members of A&T's HISTORY CLUB (& other citizens of Greensboro...& NC, PeRiOd, for that matter) in the process!!
--> ...attending a History Club meeting that following Monday....which would re-direct the course of the entire remainder of my junior year!! & through this club, FINALLY having the chance to see Minister Louis Farrakhan speak in person...in addition to Dr. Cornel West....Dr. Malik Zulu Shabazz....Steve Cokely....Pam & Ramona Africa....& others....
--> ...also had the opportunity to see & hear in person: news commentator Ed Gordon....former "O.J. Simpson case" prosecutor Charles Darden....actor Tim Reid....& others...all, SpRiNg 2004!! this year was great, truly...pretty rewarding overall...
--> ...the HISTORY CLUB as a WHOLE (& everyone in it)!!! maaan, that organization is soooo empowering, enlightening, uplifting, and inspirational...seriously....need more like 'em in the world! great minds!
