What inspired you to attend an HBCU?

Current Whereabouts:

Finishing up my last few courses at NSU. Fall 2009 is the goal.

Life & Professional Aspirations:

I would like to become a music educator, open my own event planning business, and coach vocalists who are signed to major record labels.

Claim To Fame:

A newly retired member of the SPARTAN LEGION Marching Band, I can be seen representing my school as the new Miss Norfolk State University 2008-2009. I am the Alto assistant section leader for the University concert choir and section leader for the Chamber Choir. I love my school and all of my Spartan brothers and sisters. BEHOLD! THE GREEN AND GOLD!

Most Memorable Moment:

Being Miss NSU. I am very proud to be an ambassador for the University.

High School: Perry Traditional Academy in Pittsburgh, PA class of 2003

Activities & Accomplishments:

-Drum Major of the Perry Commodore Marching Band -Head Drum Major of the Pittsburgh Public Shools All-City Marching Band -Dance Team -Varsity Tennis -Yearbook Staff -Cheerleading -Choir

Best Memories:

June 22, 2003 aka GRADUATION. My whole four years was based on the arrival of that day.
