Claim To Fame:
It is eight in the evening, millions of Americans are tuned into their television, and the press is waiting animatedly. A hush falls over the room as I, Kimmerli Isler, the National Security Advisor for the President of the United States speaks. The media scribbles frantically trying to copy my brilliant responses to my proposals on our new foreign policy that I initiated and the President heavily endorses. The public is awed by eloquent speech, and my knowledge of our governmental procedures. When I return home I smile at my ten NAACP Image awards and my Pulitzer Peace Prize. I also sit on the board of many social programs that affect the Black community and I am very vocal when it comes to women and children’s rights.
Most Memorable Moment:
The most memorable person would have to be Dr. Johnetta B. Cole. She is the president of our college. She came out of retirement to help our college that is swarming in financial failure. I marvel at this woman, who is able to effect people by her presence. She is a powerful speaker, and the epitome of a "Sista". I am proud to attend Bennett College, which has been blessed with such a wonderful woman and person to bring our school beyond the heights of its possibility.
