About   (request update)
Current Whereabouts:
I am currently in Hampton Virginia at Hampton University, studing Nursing. Hampton is very diferent from my hometown Harlem, New York. New York is a city so Hampton moves in a slower pace than New York. But that is what attracted me to the school because it is a different experience from what was accustomed to at home.
Education   (request update)
Hampton University class of 2005
Undergrad Major: Nursing
Claim To Fame:
I am a person who will always strive for respect not recognition. After September 11th I am more than aware that life is very short and unpredictable. As a result, I look at everyday as a blessing. I am and want to be known as happy and fashionable Tashia. I am also very active in school activities so I would call myself a "peoples person." I am famous for being friendly and I love being able to open up to others when I am needed. After graduating from Hampton University in May 5, 2005,I am going to attend graduate school to get my masters. I wil be a African American Registered Nurse (RN) with two specialties in AIDS and skin care. I am proud of my profession because nurses are a necessity in health care. I will be known fora tremendous amount of community service work because I would not be here if a lot of people did not take the time out to help me.
Most Memorable Moment:
My most memorable moment in college so far was winning the Miss Onyx VI title. I did not know that I was even nominated for the pagent. My freshman class had a Freshman Class Gala and my peers choose me to represent them throughout the next three years. I felt like I was qualified for the position but it always great to see that all of your hard work is appreciated and respected.
