My name is LaShawndra Walker. I have lived in Suffolk, VA my entire life. Suffolk may be very country, but I love it! I am a Christian and I love the Lord. He has blessed me so much! I have a wonderful family (both intermediate and extended) and great friends. I am a junior Chemistry major at Howard University. I love Howard so much! It has its moments but I have NEVER regretted coming to Howard. I couldn't see myself anywhere else. I like meeting new people so if you want to know anything else send me a message.

What is your main motivation in life?
Current Whereabouts:
School is my main focus right now. I want to go to medical school right after graduation from Howard so it is imperative that I have good grades. When I am not studying I enjoy reading, hanging out with my friends, shopping, and sleeping. I am not lazy, but I love sleeping! I really like helping people, but sometimes I don't have the free time to help out as much as I can. I am really into giving back to my community.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
My professional aspiration is to become a physician or surgeon in the field of pediatrics. This is my ultimate goal in life. People say once you go to medical school you change your mind about what field you want to practice. Even though I really am into pediatrics, I am open to change. I can not see myself doing anything else in the future except practicing medicine. I WILL be a doctor one day!

Best Memories:
Spending time practicing,traveling, and performing with my marching band family. Those were great times!
