Still working the road full time as a stand up comedian. When I'm at home in Birmingham I'm part of the Buckwilde Morning Show on WBHJ 95.7 Jamz. Starting his comedy career at 19 while still in college, Roy's fresh energetic style and dedicated work ethic earned him the right to be appear on CBS’ Star Search all the way to the semifinals Semi-Finals. Roy was also one of nine National Finalists in Comedy Central's Laugh Riots Competition and has since appeared in both the 2004 & 2005 season of BET’s Club Comic View and Comedy Central’s Premium Blend Aside from frequenting some of the best A-rooms in the country, Roy’s unique style and universal appeal with his comedy has earned him the right to open for a range of acts from Tommy Davidson and D.L. Hughley to the Righteous Brothers. The 26-year-old offers his views on the world from a fresh Generation X perspective. Everyone, regardless of race or age can relate to Roy as he recounts life events that have shaped him.
Most Memorable Moment:
Ahh too many memories to reveal to the public. LOL. I'll just say this...there's a time and a place for everything..it's called college.
