Most Memorable Moment:

I've grown to believe that you have to make everything memorable in some way to gain the full experience of things. The very experience that taught me this was, unfortunately, the day the Twin Towers were attacked. I hadn't been a student for even a month when all of a sudden I thought my college career was over- I had just joined the Marine Corps and had expected to be called to duty shortly thereafter. Fortunately, I have been blessed to be placed in a position where my chances of being deployed are slim, soI am able to fully enjoy the HBCU experience- which I hope to never take for granted.
