Benjamin A. Zinnerman is a Senior Mass Communication Major with a concentration in broadcast. A native of Augusta, Georgia Benjamin was educated in the Richmond County School District. Benjamin is a 2005 graduate of T.W. Josey Comprehensive High School. Since being accepted to Benedict College, He has particapated and remained academically and socially active in several campus clubs and organizations. Benjamin is a Senior Member and Executive Board Member of the Benedict College Concert Choir. He has also served as Secretary of the National Association of Black Journalist Benedict College Chapter, while remaining civically active with the NAACP Columbia Youth Council. Currently a 2yr Company Member with the Benedict College "Dance Collective" under the direction of Jacquelyn Stokes. "Dance has been a essential part of my life since the age of 14yrs old." Under Mrs. Stokes Direction he has had the privledge of performing and participating at the National Black College Dance Exchange 2009, also the South Carolina State Conference. In addition, Benjamin has participated in The South Carolina Contemporary Dance Festival where he performed original choreography set by Jacquelyn Stokes and was ajudicated by other dance professionals. Benjamin's experience here at Benedict College has certainly been a full one, he is forever greatful for the things that has been afforded to him. As a culmination of his undergraduate experience here at Benedict, Benjamin is working as a Intern for Institutional Advancement under the Director of Communications and Marketing Kymm Hunter. His plans after graduation will be furthering his studies at Howard University Graduate School Washington, D.C.

Being inconspicuously wonderful at each and every endeavor i embark upon!
Most Memorable Moment:
Being Crowned Mr. Homcoming 2010 .....You would think that would be a great memory, but in all actuality that day was one of the most stressful and nerve wrecking days of my life!!!....I remember wanting to tell our advisor to keep that crown because it was soo ugly LOL!!!!
