Claim to fame after DU: After college I plan on going to medical school and pursuing a masters degree in Medicine.... maybe I want to be a Pediatrician and or an OB GYN!!! I LOVE KIDS!!!!!
Most Memorable Moment:
My most memorable moment in college has to FEBRUARY 14, 2004!!!! That was the BEST Valentines Day Ever!!!!!!!!!!!
Another most memorable moment that was also a life changing experience was when I went to practice on Saturday August 27, 2005 and coach came in and told everybody "balls up"!!! We all were like, what the hell is going on? Damn we thought that we had to run or something!!! But she was like this is a Coach B's evacuation. Never did I ever think that, that was going to be the last practice at Dillard University!!! It's like everything has happened so fast.. Never did anyone think that they weren't going to be seeing their classmates, teammates, friends and school anymore. When I left school on that day all I took was 3 shirts, 1 pair of pants... about 4 pairs of underwear and 3 bras... I left all of my pictures all of my NEW clothes that i was going to wear on that monday. Me being from New Orleans, man I thought that shit was gonna be about 2 days and then EVERYTHING would be back to normal again. SIKE!!!! KATRINA fooled my ass... Once I heard about the news and how bad everything had gotten, my heart was broken. All I could do was cry. I started thinking about: upcoming volleyball season (we were finna be some beast), "class", friends, teammates, my coaches, and ALL MY SHIT!!! ESPICIALLY MY BABY!! I staterd wondering if I was ever gonna see TOOTIE again.... Damn my dorm room was like a home away from home but in a matter of some hours all that was just taken away from me... Now I have to go to another school, play with a team that I will have to start BRAND NEW with and live in a whole different state. That shit aint even cool. But hey what can I say....... AT LEAST ALL THE PEOPLE I CARE ABOUT ARE STILL LIVING AND NOTHING HAPPENED TO MY HOUSE.... So I MIGHT get to go home!!!! (westbank) My heart goes out to ALL the KATRINA and RITA victims!!! GOD BLESS U AND YOUR FAMILY........
The most memorable people SO far in college has to be meeting such great people, such as my teammates(a selective few) LOL, and the people that I was cool with and last but CERTAINLY NOT LEAST MY BABY!!! BEY U KNOW THAT U MEAN SO MUCH TO ME AND I CANT WAIT TO SEE SOON!!! BABY U HAVE BEEN THERE FOR ME THROUGH THIS WHOLE THING AND I THANK U FOR THAT!! I LOVE YOU TOO TOO!
