Hitting the local poetry venues like Cafe Mawonaj and Javahead...
Most Memorable Moment:
My most memorable moment is definitely the night numerous Howard students, with the support of many other HBCUs & non-HBCUs, slept outside in the cold in front of the US Supreme Court to protest the potential ruling against Affirmative Action. It is common belief that Blacks, nowadays, aren't united enough to come together to stand for a common cause. I have to say, we went the extra mile that night and the following morning, standing up for what we believe in and proving all speculators wrong. Aaaaaaawwww....HU!
