Most Memorable Moment:
My most memorable moment was giving my acceptance speech for the Beat the Odds Scholarship during my senior in high school. There were tons of people in attendance and my speech was like seven minutes long. I was nervous, but I felt liberated, because I felt at that time I had truly accomplished a lot in my life. The Beat the Odds scholarship is given out to high school graduates throughout major cities in the United States that faced adversity as a child, and despite that diversity managed to have success in different aspects of their lives (academically, personally, athletically, etc).
