Claim To Fame:
Graduating from Del State two times (Class of '00 & '05), and finally becoming a Registered Nurse! Thanks Mom for staying by my side, and encouraging me not to give up on this nursing degree. I could of never made it without you. You are my Ol Skol DSU Alumni (Class of '71), a Lovely Lady of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. (Fall '70), and most importantly, my friend. These RN letters are for you, Mom-Mom, and Pop-Pop. I love Yall!!
Most Memorable Moment:
Meeting my husband Hank (Class of '99) in '97 @ Del State in the Science Center. Thanks sweetie for helping me overcome my mid-semester breakdowns. Thank you for our beautiful daughters Nasira & Nisa! Love you Hankie, Ni Ni, & Ne Ne!!! Meeting my best friend Christal (Class of '01) in Nursing classes. Congrats Chris on your marriage, new baby girl Kaylan, and finishing Nursing school. To my girl Tina (Class of '99), Congrats on finally becoming a distinguished lady of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. You waited a long time for those letters, and you finally got them! Congrats Kisha (Class of '08) on graduating. You are now part of DSU alumni!!
