Sherry Snipes is Global Diversity, Inclusion and Engagement Manager for Arrow Electronics, Inc., a Fortune 200 company. She joined Arrow in 2005 with responsibility for EEO, compliance and diversity strategy, design and implementation. She presently works cross functionally to drive and embed diversity and inclusion globally throughout the organization by focusing on the areas of recruitment, accountability, education, employee development/retention and ROI.

Prior to Arrow, Ms. Snipes held the position of Sr. HR Manager, Call Centers, Operations and Logistics for MSC Industrial Direct Co., Inc, (NYSE:MSM), a direct marketer of industrial products. She worked for MSC from 1997–2005. Notable achievements with MSC include implementation of numerous work-life/retention programs, including mentoring, on boarding and development of training programs (Diversity Awareness, No Harassment, Union Avoidance and Policies and Procedures for Managers).

She started her career in various independent contributor roles with the SHRM, , John Kaldor Fabricmaker, Ltd., and Proctor & Gamble, Inc. Ms. Snipes has 20 years of business experience, with 15 years in Human Resources.

Ms. Snipes is a board member for American Lyric Theatre (www.ALTnyc.org), a professional member of SHRM and a member of the Conference Board’s “Diversity and Inclusion Strategy Council” and Diversity Spectrum's "Executive Council". She has been interviewed for Careers in disAbled Magazine, Diversity Careers Magazine and was a keynote speaker at the 2008 European Black Women's Symposium in Vienna, Austria. She has been a past-featured speaker at the Conference Board Diversity Conferences and participated on The Network Journal Panel "A Brand Called You" in NYC. She holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Hampton University and attended the University of Maryland, Graduate Business School. Hobbies include reading historical literature, theatre and collecting art and antiques.
