Succesfully implementing Project Voice, a political awareness campaign which includes a voter registration drive.

Most Memorable Moment:

Although my tenure as an active Team Leader is over, I still find it to be one of my most memorable moments in college. Two years ago I could not have imagined the many blessings that would be bestowed upon me by God and I am forever humbled and grateful for how he has used me. Since January I have been interning in Congressman Ed Pastor's office. This year I served as a Howard University School of Business Management Team Leader, leading 23 students (Team 180!) through a successful first year and having a wonderful relationship with our corporate sponsor, Ford Motor Company. I also served as a counselor for a second year for the Howard University Academic Reinforcement Pre-Orientation Program. I maintained my status on the dean's list raising my cumulative average to a 3.3 GPA, with a sophomore GPA average of a 3.38. More importantly I was able to reach out and give college tours to two groups of students out of Tucson, the Tucson Historical Black College Tour and the Tucson High Magnet School African American Culture Club; all while still enjoying my life as a student of Howard University! To say my years thus far have been easy would be far from the truth, but regardless of the many challenges I have faced, the love and support I have received from my community continues to keep me in high spirits and I am grateful; for every prayer, every thought, every penny or opportunity and every word of encouragement. I continue to be forever grateful and continue to raise the bar for myself.
