About   (request update)
Current Whereabouts:
I am in Tuscaloosa still. I have only 12 weeks left until graduation. I will be staying out of school for a year, mainly because I NEED a break. I will be working at the hospital until its time to go to school. I CANNOT go home. The whole thing about 2 grown women in the same household rings TOO true for me and my mother.
Education   (request update)
Stillman College class of 2006
Undergrad Major: Medicine
Campus Organization:
Alpha Kappa Alpha
Claim To Fame:
Most who know me would say that my voice is my claim to fame. I would say that my claim to fame is God. He is everything to me. He has patiently and gracefully guided myself and my fmaily through the worst and best of times. He's been the anchor for me when I wanted tried to do my own thing. He always brings me back to where I need to be. There are so many victories that he has allwed me to claim. I could sit here all day and talk about them. But the thing I'm most grateful for now, is how he took what the devil meant for evil and blessed my family with it. After several years of being layed off, he blessed my father with a successful business and he no longer has to depend on soemone else to decide his financial fate. He and his partner have worked and are working hard to further their business and I'm so proud to call him Daddy. And my mother, she is the nuber one example of a strong black woman. She stood behind my father and has been his number one supporter. I wouldn't have them if it weren't for God. So He is my calim to fame.
Most Memorable Moment:
My most memorable moment to date at Stillman was when the tour choir was singing at First Presbyterian Church and they invited the entire tour choir to sing at our sister city: Schorndorf Germany...ALL EXPENSES PAID!!!! The only money I spent was on gifts for myself and family. That was an experience that I will NEVER forget. The tour choir made memories that not even time can erase. I love my sleepers! On another note, I was walking on the yard with a guy friend when my mom called me and told me that my nephew died in a house fire. He was only 11. I was planning to visit him this summer after graduation. But... Finally I would say the biggest thing of this academic year thus far is deciding, after 5 HARD years of studying and not having a life, that I no longer want to go to medical school. I am going to Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic.
