Claim To Fame:

Attending one of only two historically black colleges for women in America (B-C!), being a young Black female journalist, being the first intern ever at The Carolina Theatre of Durham, INC, meeting John Legend and Lyfe (at my internship) and being one of the lovely ladies of the Zeta Xi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.

Most Memorable Moment:

My most memorable moment is meeting Essence's Editorial Director, Susan L.Taylor. I love Essence magazine and hope to write for them in the future. Through Bennett College I have also met Bill Cosby, Danny Glover, Stedman Graham, Sonia Sanchez, Maya Angelou, Coretta Scott King, and many more prominent people.
