Currently I am in Philly where i was born and raised. Now that i've graduated from CCP, I've been working full time anticipating continuing my education at Morgan State.
Graduating from Community College with my first, but not last degree. I have a degree in Social Behavior but will receive a bachelor's in Psychology. Eventually i would like to have a PH.D in Child Psychology or Psychiatry. With that, i plan to help young children over come their troubles and allow them to realize that their futures are promising. Like alot of people growing up, i've dealt with trials and tribulations which at the time seemed paralyzing. However, i've overcame them by prayer, family and positive role models. I now want to become a positive role model for young children. Give them the opportunity to shine.
Most Memorable Moment:
Socially, I have plenty of memories since i've been in college. It's hard to single out one particular event. I guess that's because I take advantage of everyday i'm living and make the best of every moment if i can help it. Academically, finally completing my associates degree. Although it's only an A.A, i experienced a sense of accomplishment. It only made me more driven to continue my education and become closer to my long-term goal.
So 2morrow is move in day for most. It's crazy because it felt like yesterday when i was counting down the months, now it's down to the hours. I really hope i'll get cool roommates. Staying with a bun ...more
