About   (request update)
I am Jacqueline Taylor-Adams, a marketing geek if there ever were one. I am an idea person and lover of the arts as well. So, the gemini in me took the idea ego and paired it with my marketing ego, put on my cultural arts frame and poof -- out came, The Master Griot Project.

The griot is an element of the West African culture dating back before the 13th century. An honored bloodline, the griot is the keeper of the culture -- the purveyor of the oral history... "they carried the living history of an entire people from generation to generation."

The Master Griot Project[tm], an act of Social Entrepreneurship. With the pure intent to harness the growing popularity of Spoken Word/Performance Poetry into a blend of altruism and marketing that will help build effective African American communities, The Master Griot Project™ uses the great artistry and words of master level performance poets with varied styles and ages to market the diversity and viability of spoken word to audiences ages 12 to 55, advertising and marketing agencies, institutions of learning and cause-driven movements.

As a being about uplifting humanity, I ask you to take the Griot Pledge.
As a lover of art, music, culture, jazz, soul, and Real Hip Hop, I request you listen to and buy the spoken art.
As a business person looking to reach the affluent African American and multi-cultural art enthusiast communities, I say get a customized sponsor offering today
As a business, inventor, or cause-driven movement looking to articulate an emotion driven message, Let MGP help you with your communications campaign

The Master Griot Project™ utilizes strategic partnerships, products, and services to maximize outreach, market penetration, branding, and ROI.

MGP incorporates our partners' niche marketing elements into our sponsorship inventory to provide our sponsors with aggressive strategic offerings that maximizes outreach, brand exposure, and ROI. All sponsorship offerings are customized to meet the specific marketing objectives of our sponsors.

What do William Shatner, GAP, Verizon, Pepsi Blue, Russell Simmons, 60 Minutes, and Molson Canadian have in common? They know the tremendous appeal of spoken word poetry! Spoken Word/Performance Poetry is fast becoming a hot commodity in the entertainment, education, and advertising industries.

If you are not capitalizing from the spoken word industry, you are missing out on a very important growth arena.
How may I serve you? Email talk2us@mastergriotradio.com or call me at 1.877.552.7012, x1111.

Class trip to Montreal, Canada and I created the slogan for our sophomore year "Move Up Day" (it was the last one of over a 100 year tradition) to the tune of Brass Construction's Skyzoo ***We're the class from the past ***that known as sophmores ***that's over now, so scream and shout ***we're coming thru the door ***Now, we are juniors, the best they ever had ***and now we're telling everybody that WE ARE BAD ***What ya gonna do? We're gonna say that we're the class of 82! Now here it is. Understand we were moving up from sophomores to juniors and the chant was to the tune of Skyy's "Skyzoo": "We're the class from the past known as sophomores That's over now, we sing and shout we're coming through the door Now, we are juniors, the best they've ever had And now, we're telling everybody THAT WE ARE BAD What ya gonna do? We're gonna say, that we're the class of 82 (3x)"

Guestbook Comments
“Man often becomes what he believes himself to be. If I keep on saying to myself that I cannot do a certain thing, it is possible that I may end by really becoming incapable of doing it. On the contrary, if I have the belief that I can do it, I shall surely acquire the capacity to do it even if I may not have it at the beginning.” ― Mahatma Gandhi
