South Carolina United Action (SCUA) is an African-American led membership community-based organization founded in 1989. SCUA involves people in working to bring about political, societal and economic changes in the communities in which they live and in the state of South Carolina. Its membership is made up of predominately African-Americans who are at or well below the poverty line.
