Miss Marci Hodge joined the active duty Army in 2000 and was commissioned a Quartermaster Officer. Her first deployment was to Iraq in 2003 when Operation Iraqi Freedom began. After this she went to Airborne School and spent time at the Fort Bragg in the Special Warfare Training Group (Airborne) Unit as a Company Commander.

In 2005, she left active duty and joined the Army Reserves. Soon after this she got a position as a FEMA contractor in Washington, DC after Hurricane Katrina in the Emergency Housing Unit.

In 2006, Hodge acquired a job as a Department of Defense civilian working in the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response office as a Program Analyst. She currently advises on policy for women and girls in the Near East at the Department of the State. In 2007, she deployed for the second time to Iraq during the Surge as the Division Humanitarian Assistance Manager, and earned a Bronze Star,Star and 2011 to Afghanistan where she worked as a Female Engagement Team Program Manager, and received the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Commendation Medal and a Department of State Franklin Award among others. In July 2010, Hodge was promoted to Major and recently returned from Kuwait on her fourth tour where she was a Key Leader Engagement planner for the command group for Operation Inherent Resolve.

Miss Hodge has a Masters in International Relations from Troy State University, Cum Laude.
Current Whereabouts:
Working out, the arts, travelling, etc.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
Still want to get married, but White House, Nonprofit work and Corporate Responsibility for a company when I am done with the Federal Government.

HEAD MAJORETTE; Top 10% of my class; went to the Rose Bowl and said Happy New Year to the world.
