I was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on April 17, 1988 into a military family. I have lived in California, DC, Virginia, Mississippi, and North Carolina (mostly in Virginia). I moved from Prince George, VA to Fayetteville, NC in 2005, graduated from E. E. Smith High School in 2006, and began my undergraduate studies at Fayetteville State University in July 2006 as a CHEEER (Creating High Expectations for Educational Readiness) Program Scholar to start my freshman year. While a student at FSU I participated in many student organizations such as the Student Activities Council (SAC), Student Conduct Board, Orientation Leader (OL), and the Honda Campus All Star team to name a few. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science on May 7, 2011 and began working for the university under the Department of Residence Life since July 2011.

I began my own t-shirt brand called "Custom Designs 4 Broncos" in May 2013 in which I design and sell t-shirts depicting our school pride to students and alumni.
