What are some of the more important things in life to you?
"First and foremost is a relationship with GOD, family and then others. My baby girl will be taking a vow of covenant to marriage on 10/25/2008 in Kilahni, Maui, Hawaii. Some more important things in life are peace, serentiy, tranquility, fishing, musems, traveling and one day I just might be a grandmother."

Struggle was my middle name-(formally disabled);recently blessed to march with two degrees & three allied health certifications in 2 years. I do lots of service in my communtiy for the disenfranchised.
I love animals, table games, traveling, eating out, theatre, musems, and quiet-time for reading a great novel. Definitely don't do/talk with shallow, materialistic, ego manaiacs. Developing character is a life process, not something you buy at the local market.

Currently, I like challenging intellectual games and opportunities. I like computers (architectual and programming), I am into health for the community 0 stop the spread of STD's/HIV. I am a Christian and believe we all have our own personal cross to bare and that each life experience is a lesson to help teach another ...
Life & Professional Aspirations:
Currently seeking MPH from UT School of Public Health. I aspire to become the Director of Health or Bureau Chief of DPC/STD/HIV/AIDS or have a career with the CDC in Atlanta. I love biostatistics and womens health issues. Just want to make a small difference!

Claim To Fame:
Encouraging young African Americans to reach for higher education no matter the odds or circumstances. Take it from seasoned student; after life had smacked me silly, I came back to school for a degree. Dreams set the stage for goals and goals set the stage for life changing events.
Most Memorable Moment:
Member of world reknown TSU Debate Team-Sigma Pi ALpha. Received scholarship from EWI, Amercorps, and TSU. Presented paper at SCAASI-The Long Range Effects Of PTSD in Adult SUrvivors of Hurricane Katrina. Currently at University of Texas School of Public Health working towards an MPH.
High School: Forest Brook in Houston, TX class of 1978
 
Activities & Accomplishments:
Member of the high stepping Jaguars marching band(1st Clarinet). Member of Future scientist of America, Honor Society, Track & Field and Tennis.
Best Memories:
Marching in the Maudi Gras; winning the battle of the bands and our high school band taking on the title of The Baby Ocean of Soul (TSU). Falling in love (puppy) ...

I love to cook Italian dises and bake deserts (oatmeal chocolate chip pecan cookies). Well we have quite a few interest that are the same except for the mountain climbing. I like scrabble a lot.
