What school did you attend?

Current Whereabouts:

In 2005, I earned my Master's degree from Bowie State University. I am a Certified Child Life Specialist and have worked in this capacity at Johns Hopkins Hospital (a long time goal of mine-thanks Dr. Carson for writing THINK BIG!) and Children's National Medical Center in DC. I currently reside in Bowie MD, where I am working as a Special Education Resource Teacher for 8th grade students at a local middle school. I attend Spirit of Faith Christian Center in Brandywine, MD, and I appreciate the strong leadership of Pastors Mike and Dee Dee Freeman.

Claim To Fame:

Acquaintances call me a "very chill person." During college, friends said I was always "so happy" that they nicknamed me "sunshine," hence my email address! The truth is I'm a southern girl from VA who loves to cook! I'm a PK (preacher's kid). Forget what you heard about PKs! I truly love God with all my heart.

Most Memorable Moment:

My late night trips to the roof of Armstrong Hall to stargaze, taking naps on the waterfront when I should've been in class, my friends who have always been there since 1997- Hi "tiny voice twin!" The campus grill (old school) and Mr. James who cooked the bomb chicken tenders and fries, Davido's,which was ran by the Omegas (the best hot wings I've ever tasted!). Dr. A. Brown and Dr. Bass in the Psych Dept. And least of all, one very special person that I am trying to forget!
