Q&A With Rhonda L. Terry

How will your success better the world?
"My success will set an example to those who feel as if they cannot get back up off their feet to be who they were meant to be! My success will be the catalytic spark that ignites massive exposure of my "brand" as a writer. Thus, with the exposure and annointing on every piece of literature whomever it touches will gain valuable insight to a true human learning experience and be inspired to be the same influence on someone else's life. The torch will be passed!"

Interviewed by Heather Kollar 08/13/10

Tell me something interesting that everyone should know about you?
"Everyone should know that I can not be judged by my cover! No one should actually...but I really can't! I am as diverse as the United Nations and I love it that way!"

Interviewed by LINDSAY REED 08/13/10

How do you serve your community?
"I serve my community by doing MY part to keep my children in line as decent citizens and intrigal parts of this community. I offer therapeutic services to those who are open to it being a necessity rather than a luxury in life. We ALL deserve to be pampered and my services are offered at ridiculously lowered rates compared to spas...AND to top it off...I COME TO YOU!! "

About   (request update)
I claim my uniqueness as someone who thinks out of the box moreso than others. I consider myself a DaVinci type and found it quite interesting getting through college with this frame of mind. Even with a degree, I still consider myself to be a "jack of all trades", which makes me marketable in many things and I love it!
My Interview Question
what do you do that brings you pleasure opposed to doing what pays your bills? In other words, are you living your dream(s)?!
Current Whereabouts:
My currect whereabouts are back up north in New Jersey. I recently purchased a home across the river from my hometown, New York City!! I recently contributed on a Chicken Soup For The African American Soul project that is truly exciting! My other 25 jobs include being a full-time mom!!!!! Was featured in January 2004's Essence as part of Ascential Keyz - a mobile pampering service group - now called, "Ayo's Mobile Pampering Service".
Life & Professional Aspirations:
Professional goals are to habe my own magazine while publishing my many books - that oh...by the way, will be adapted into motion pictures. I also wish to expand my business from being mobile in my tri-state area to being a national franchise.

Education   (request update)
Clark Atlanta University class of 1995
Undergrad Major: Mass Communication
Claim To Fame:
My claim to fame would have to be my position at WCLK Radio while matriculating. It was the most I had done in my field where I had gotten recognition and exposure! It was great and I thank CAU and all of the WCLK staff for giving me that opportunity - particularily, Bobby Jackson, Abdul Taymullah and David Muse!
Most Memorable Moment:
My most memorable moment was my first night on the air at the radio station and two of my mentors stood on the outside of the studio door peeking through the door as my well-taught skills were about to flow! I was a baby about to take my first vocal step on radio. To be heard by so many but seen by none was the most exhilerating feeling I think I've ever had in my career. Thus, the very reason I wish to be a writer!! This experience tied with graduation itself!
