Claim To Fame:
As a woman in today's society, I observe so many other women achieving what they want. Therefore, it gives me the confidence to do the same. My goals are to be the President and CEO of my own magazine and radio station. With the knowledge that I hope to gain from HONEY Magazine, I believe I will accomplish these goals.
Most Memorable Moment:
Being a proud Spartan on the campus of Norfolk State University, I am granted many times the pleasure of different speakers gracing the stage in the Douglas L. Wilder Center. So, I cannot narrow it to one speaker. When Cornel West spoke, he gave insight to the African-American race that often go unspoken. Tavis Smiley expressed to us what it meant to be in the "Talented Tenth" on his tour through Norfolk. Each gave something different, but ultimately each of them gave me an experience and advice to last a lifetime.
