Q&A With phil marlow

how do u treat ur friends?
"I do have a general rule,"To do unto others as I would have them do unto me". From there I usually eliminate many and another test is to tell someone a hot secret and ask them not to tell, if I hear it again, well, there goes the friend. peace and love"

Interviewed by lanay turner 08/13/09

If you could converse with any 3 historical figures, who would they be and why?
"One would be Dr. King, Malcolm X and those guys that started intergration. Why Dr. King? because I think he was wrong for trying to force a hate race to accept it enemy, Black people. Malcolm X, I would have told him to not knock his mentor and keep educatiing the Black Mass. Intergration? I wish I could have told them not to accept intergration of school but to keep demanding Seperate but equal."

"While attending a HBCU school one is less apt to have the social pressure of attending all white institute. I am glad of the experience I had attending all black schools, high school as well. My attitude toward my brother is one of help and "got your Back", attitude. I found out that being a Black Hebrew is beautiful and from that I know my identity. Peace and love."

Interviewed by GIZELLE SANDERS 11/04/08

hmmm how do you like your hbcu?... lol
"Back in the day when Blacks didn't have a clue who they were and still don't, my HBCU gave me some kind of identity. Those were the days of, "Say it Loud I am Black and Proud", Malcolm X, Stokely Carmichael. Sorry to say this but Dr. King created an inferior complex in some blacks making them think they were second class unles they sit beside, walk beside, hold hand with, marry, etc., with the white former slave master and his children. We got a culture, god and a name and don't need nobody else god. I AM HEBREW."

Every one has thrown hints at me for over the past several years that I was destiny to be a teacher or Spiritual leader. So far I have arrived at both in my own way. I teach on the street now but have done so in the church and school. What is your outlook on life?
"My outlook on my life is good for I believe I have accumulate enough knowledge to understand where the world or government are heading and therefore have plans on how to jump off the wagon and save myself and love ones. Now for other the outlook is not good because the world is so eager to follow without critical thinking, a good example is Christianity, and they preach as follow, "walk by faith not by sight". Is not the five senses given us by god to be used to stay on the narrow path of righteousness?"

"Hey!! I just want to live my life from a spiritual sense. I don't want to be of Satan world which is the world we live in today. This country leads the world in Sins againist each other and those around the world. "Classie, I have yet to define friendship as describe in Webster, therefore for me it lies in those I love and those that love me. Thus far it has only arrived in immediate family, brothers, sisters, mother, father and children. Those I mention know me and knows what to expect from me."

Interviewed by Classie Kinsey 09/05/08

how old are you
"Well, so far no one has come close. this has giving me faith and hope that the life style I've chosen is working. I am in better health now than I was 20 years ago. After discovering through roots research that my family come from a powerful group of people called Hebrews and our history can be found in the Torah or old testament. We're the people Yahweh chose and created to be his priests to the world but we broke and coveant and found ourselves cursed and in slavery. Love you much."

Interviewed by tauna balthazar 09/05/08

What is your ultimate goal?
"Ultimate goal will be to find my true identity, spiritually and culturely. However, thus far I've travel more than 200 years back into time to discover that it is a 98% probabillity that I am Hebrew and my history if correct can be found in the Old Testament or Torah, meaning Instruction, knowledge, wisdom and understand to my people. To complete that goal will take a book, video and many family re-unions. To you I say peace and love."

Interviewed by Celena Owens 09/05/08

What is one thing you want to do before you leave this earth?
"While approaching the age of 62 I would like to complete my journey back to my roots. While in search for my Identity I have covered approximately 200 years and have landed in the knowledge that I am Igbo from West Africa and if this is correct they claim they are descendants of Abraham, fleed from Israel after the invasion by the Romans. West Africa as they describe it, is not their home but a strange land. I have discovered that my people came her with the Torah, written in their hearts. I've discovered songs they sang before they were introduce to Christianity concerning people in the old testament. Our traditions are from the old testament, the Torah, meaning Instructions, is who we are and this statement is for all Blacks in the USA. The Torah says we were scattered to the four corners of the earth and cursed because we strayed from Yahweh our god. The prophesy about the dead bone is US. We are coming into the knowledge of self but slowly. Peace and Love."

Interviewed by Freya Sullivan Williams 09/04/08

Where do see yourself in 5 years?
"I am hoping to retire alive next December and from there my plans are to remove my three sons greatest burden, such as housing, cars etc so that they can enjoy life and their children without the stree of bills, bills. I've already accomplish those thing, material, that I've wanted. Now I must continue tracing my family roots. Thus far I've travel approx. 200 year back in time and now have my sights on the West Coast of Africa. Igbos of West Africa fits the traditions of my parent and their parent to a tee. We carried the Torah or old testament in our hearts and minds and some traditions still are practice. Yes, the majority of people here in this strange land are Hebrews and their god is Yahweh. Peace, love, wisdom and knowledge"

Interviewed by ciara williams 08/26/08

Have you ever been treated unfairly if so, what did you do about it?
"I have been treated unfairly many time in my life but I have managed to ignore when possible and fight heads up if necessary. Obstacle can be moved, stepped on, knock down or even destroyed. One must learn to keep their heads up and their goal in sight."

Interviewed by Esther Pinkston 08/25/08

WHAT SEPERATES YOU FROM EVERYONE ELSE!!!
"I've been blessed as my fore father Abraham by Yahwed, god of the Hebrew Children."

Interviewed by TWIX JORDAN 08/20/08

How has college changed you as a person?
"Coming from where I am, Country, college life gave me a different outlook on who I was as a person. Other students and especially those of the north whom were free thinkers and had experience more of the free society made me a critical thinker, questioning society social rules and moral standard. Back in the days we didn't have the stress to simualte into white society because we had our own and each person upon graduation took his/her skill back to the community and became examples of what other could achieve. Today it is all about graduation and working for the man and ignoring the community we left. Thanks my beautiful black sister for allowing me to speak. Peace"

Interviewed by Angelica Spence 08/18/08

If you had to do it all over again, would you choose an HBCU? (I would)
"Lori, I would choose an HBCU all over again if I had the opportunity, in fact I choose to send my 3 boys to an HBCU college. I also wish the late 60-70 could have continue longer because as a people we were in unity and gaining economically but after intergration we lost our desire to become active in our community and bring our talent and skills in our community. Today all we want is a job working with our enemy on the plantation we fought to be free off."

Interviewed by Lori Williams 08/13/08

If you had 30 seconds and the whole world listening, what would you say?
"Great question and you can quote me," Black America, be not of the this world but in the world that your god created for you. Find your roots, live them and received all the special gifts your god, Yahwed want to bestore upon you. Your are not liken unto any people in this world for your god, Yahwed has chosen you to be a blessing for all other races of the world. Stop playing this worldly game with your enemy the Devil and go back to worshiping the god your fore fathers worship, Yahwed, the god of Abraham your father. Your history can be found in the Old Testament that your ememy has suggest you throw away and take up the New Testament which is Anti-christ. Peace, love, wisdom and understanding."

Interviewed by Jacqueline Taylor-Adams 07/16/08

What do you enjoy? (food, drink, video games, etc.)
"Now that I am too old to be a serious contender in sports, I been really enjoying my search for family roots. Some tear, some joy and some amazement. Searching roots cover more than one may imagine. I've found my identity and one cannot believe the relief it brings. No more being some one you're not, no more trying to be like Mike, no more searching for the right religion or culture. At present my heart beats slower and my spirit is at rest, I AM HEBREW, descendant of Adam, Noah, Abraham, Jacob, skipping on down to Joseph the father of the Messiah, Emanuel. Peace and Love"

Interviewed by Amaris Washington 07/01/08

What is the #1 thing you like about HBCUConnect.com?
"Being in the company of beautiful women and educated Black People."

Interviewed by Will Moss 05/30/08

Whats ur purpose?
"Ashley, you've handed me a deep, deep question and it is going to take devine intervention to answer it. First I must say that I have just completed approximately 90 percent of finding my Idenity, that of knowing who I am and where I came from. Now, purpose? Well, as I try to live in this world without being of the world I am becoming increasingly aware of my inner spirituality and this I now struggle with. Purpose has not arrive yet, however, those around me says that I am a gifted teacher, other proclaim my mission is that of a preacher. Well, what do I say? I am not at this time comfortable with my self and feeling. How far have I come to answering your question? Well, maybe the answer is blowing in the wind. Peace, love, wisdom and understanding."

Interviewed by Ashley Broady 05/20/08

What you most believe in?
"Ms Nwankwo, that's a question I find very difficult to respond to as I am in the process of discovering who I am and where my fore-parent originate from. I think this is very important in order to establish a belief system. If one know not who they are and where they originate from then they tend to run from one culture to another trying to find that since of calm between the inner spirit and the spirit that communes with it or better said, "a diety". Being a descendant of a people held in captivity physically and mentally for more than 300 year, the journey back to the point of where my idenity and the identity of my people was stolen has been difficult but possible. Today I am in the forrest deeply but cannot point to which tree I fell from. I could make an educated guess that I am Hebrew/Israelite and that possibility is 90% correct Just from this knowledge, my confidence and focus has greatly improved. Knowing that I have my own identity is a relief. What I believe in most? I could say, "Knowing thy Self"."

Interviewed by Antonia Nwankwo 05/08/08

What do you most like about yourself?
"The fact that I am free spirit and open minded. I try to be critical in order to seek out the truth amongst lies and vice versal. I persue being a dove, being quite with a watchful eye. I truly like myself now more than ever because I have discovered that I am Hebrew. With this knowledge I can be comfortable in my skin."
