Rev. Khandi Konte-Bey was born in Richard Allen City (phila. pa) in 1954. At age 13 she became a Black Panther, Graveyite and Muur and danced on the Apollo stage with Sun Ra Kosmic Arkestra in NYC. She moved to NJ, married and had 5 children in 1976 at age 21. She moved to Ohio when her Family (MOVE) was bombed in the 1980's. She is still a resident in columbus Ohio. She has co-founded 5 independent Afrikan schools in several states, COASADOS Church and several theater companies.
