What is the #1 thing you like about HBCUConnect.com?
"I view it as a whole new world! Seriously, I'm not used to being exposed to people with ambition, let alone people who have begun to persue their dreams. Then, seeing that the majority are people of color, it gives me SOME hope for the world's future. It let's me know that not all men are out for that ONE thing, not all females are DRAMA queens, and not all people are blinded by images of "bling", sex, and violence. After being alive for 2 decades, I find that I will never completely know or understand myself, let alone others. I'm a firm believer in the idea that if I plan on taking care of others, I must first care for self. Life is the trip I'm stuck on and I plan on overdosing on Happiness before it's all said and done. My love comes full-fledged, but so does my anger when pushed to that limit. *Don't let the gap tooth smile fool or confuse you* I constantly aim for perfection and could care less about acceptance cuz i'mma be me til the sun rides beneath the hills. To sum it up:

My Interview Question

Where do you see yourself within the next five years; what are your plans?

Current Whereabouts:

At this very moment, I'm working two jobs to help supplement my school and general needs as a college student. This is my junior year so I'm in the process of looking into internships and finding a way to exercise my Certification as a Nursing Assistant (earned in High School).

Life & Professional Aspirations:

My intention is to specialize in the branch of Neurobiological Research. I want to study and aid in the curing of various mental diseases, especially those prominant in children. Eventually, I will start my own family medical practice that will be the heart of, what I would like to call, a "Medical Mall".
