Francis Govan directs the Mid Atlantic Leadership Initiative in Cross Culture Connections (MALICCC) -a faith based outreach organization. He is an ordained minister (Evergreen Baptist Church, Washington DC) and a graduate of Geneva College in Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Urban Ministry. He also holds an M.S. from the historic Lincoln University and has an extensive background in the social sciences.
As an Evangelist, Mr. Govan has labored across ethnic and denominational lines with the Christian & Missionary Alliance, the Church of the Nazarene and the Methodist Church and engaged additional theological studies with The Center for Urban Theological Studies; Eastern Mennonite University’s School for Urban Mission; the American Christian College and Seminary; the Institute on Clinical Theology at Regent University; the Bishop Isaac Lane College (Jackson, Tennessee); and the District of Columbia Bible Institute. Mr. Govan is Co-Founder of “Igbimo Otito” {True Community}, a coalition of student ministries at Howard University. Long creative in popular culture and youth ministry, he enjoys people as the beauty of God's creation, films, cartooning, and quiet times with his family. He is wedded to Linda Bryant, formerly of Evangelical Baptist Church (Baltimore) and father of Nia Govan.

How can someone -a prospective friend like myself, encourage you?
Current Whereabouts:
Crossing culture -including hip-hop, and identifying and encouraging emerging Christian and youth leadership. Completing authorship of improtant book on postmodern culture.
