After graduating Hampton University, I left with a general understanding of the political realm and how it affects our everyday lives. So with a BA in Political Science, I journeyed to Columbus, OH were I developed a greater understanding of what those in the legal profession are subjected to. That familiar saying, “Not all that glitters is gold” is what stands out best in result of my attendance at Capital University Law School.

With the underpinnings of a good politician or lobbyist, I pursued the study of law to discover that ‘black letter law’ was the easiest study to digest. If you haven't noticed: On some level or another, we all reason in our daily activities as to what is logically right. Not too much different from what attorneys do, yet they reason with precedence to support. Other than the grueling hours depending on your legal sector of practice and of course the enticing calculated pay upon devoted hours – being an attorney was not worth the trade for life’s quality. Thus, I went against the grain and was perceived to be crazy by a few because I removed myself from the path of becoming an attorney. That is when I discovered life and of course the trials & tribulations that make it memorable.

With a Masters in Business Administration – concentration in Marketing, I directed my energy to discover what life has to offer. Not restricted amongst a tower of large books or trapped by any mounds of paperwork to decipher, I have discovered that you can make the lifestyle not vice versa.

Current Whereabouts:

Looking to regain entry back into the workforce since recently separated (9/09) due to a termination in my contract. Networking with other HBCU almuni as of 1/28/10.
