About   (request update)
What makes me special is when I look back over my life and see how far I have become after being a teenage parent and making poor relationship chioces. I thank God that I weathered the storms and did not become a victim of circumstance. I am a single parent of four beautiful Children, whom I wake up for and try to lead them by example as to what a positive llfe should consist of. I keep God First, family second, work third and everything else falls in place.
Current Whereabouts:
I am currently the Community Development and Planning and Zoning Director for the City of Marshall. I also attend graduate school full time. Being a MOM is what keeps me the busiest.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
I am continuing to pursue my education in the administration of justice field because I inspire to be of help to someone that truly needs Rehabilitation, hope and a meaningful life. One is never too old and it's never too late to start over and be what you want to be. Faith before failure is my motto and I will continue to live with that. I desire to work in the Criminal Justice field someday or even open my own rehabilitation faclity for offenders. With a lot of work, and little worry I will succeed.
Education   (request update)
Wiley College class of 2007
Undergrad Major: Criminal Justice
Campus Organization:
Alpha Kappa Alpha
Claim To Fame:
During my College Years I plan to continue to be a single parent to my four children and work a 40 hour job so that I can provide for them ro the best of my ability. It's not easy when you don't have the second parent to help. Instead of harping on that, I will do whatever it take s to accquire my degree so that I can provide a better future and some type of stability for my children and myself. I knew that I was past time for me to do something with myself because if I don't get what I need then my children won't have what they need. I just thank God that the opportunity was still there for me to go back and pursue an education and get back on the right track to a better Life.
Most Memorable Moment:
My Relegion teacher was the most memorable person during the last semester. His class gave me the inspiration to keep my head up and don't give up.
High School: Marshall High School in Marshall, TX class of 1995
Best Memories:
Being a part of the WORK Program HECE under the direction of Mrs. Dianne Seal
